About

Carla "Andrika" Tenise Henderson was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1980. She is the daughter of Leevell and Erma Henderson. Andrika lives on through her three children whom she loved very much. She attended Pine Bluff High School and Southeast Arkansas Community College. Throughout her high school and college experiences,  Andrika remained humble, sophisticated, positive, and a social butterfly. She was a very well-rounded and athletic person as she excelled in school, cheerleading, softball, and basketball.

In 2009, Andrika was diagnosed with rare cancer that didn't have a known cure. She underwent multiple chemotherapy treatments and surgeries. For a time, cancer was in remission, however, it ultimately took our beautiful mother, friend, and daughter away. In honor of such a majestic spirit, the Andrika Memorial Scholarship Foundation was created by Andrika's youngest sister, Kionna Henderson, and two of her closest friends,

Natilie Penister and Nequetta Alford. With help from Andrika's entire family and close friends, this scholarship was made possible to support an upcoming social butterfly with a loving spirit similar to Andrika's.

If you can dream it, it is possible.....
